Farm – Why Take The Kids?

/Farm – Why Take The Kids?

Farm in Ann Arbor, MI

Farms are a wonderful place for families to spend time together outdoors and be active without relying on technology or spending a lot of money. Wing Farms has been locally owned and operated for over 150 years, this means we know a thing or two about family fun. We strive to provide opportunities for families to learn and have fun by picking pumpkins, learning about farm life, seeing animals, enjoying apple cider and so much more.

A farm is a great place for hands-on learning and can be very beneficial for teaching children about aspects of farm life and more. Since kids are naturally curious there are many ways to get involved that can also be teaching moments without seeming like they are learning. Kids love to explore and learn about animals, plants, farming and more, a farm is the perfect place to do this. Kids also benefit from being able to make decisions while picking pumpkins, learning about money, and learning how one thing can be made into another like pumpkin pie or a jack-o-lantern.
